After an extended absence from our blog, we are posting again. We have added "November 17, 1929: Do We Need a New Religion?" -- a sermon regarding Humanism, the impact of science on religion, and the four main things that will distinguish the religion of the future.

During our hiatus we completed the digital scanning of all the manuscripts, in preparation for the donation of the originals to the American Jewish Archives. We also authored an essay "Maurice Eisendrath Comes to Toronto: The Rabbi’s First Year at Holy Blossom," soon to be published in an academic journal.

February 11, 2017

We were pleased on behalf of Holy Blossom Temple to present the original manuscripts to Rabbi Gary Zola, Executive Director of the Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives. (Rabbi Zola was in Toronto, visiting Holy Blossom as a weekend scholar-in-residence.) The manuscripts are now stored at the AJA in Cincinnati, Ohio.
